Our Company
We are a growing group of trained
installers for the remedial treatment of damp and timber, headed by a qualified remedial
surveyor who has been working with the building industry for 25 years. We do not undertake
building work.
We work in conjunction with builders,
the building professions, and facility management organisations. We provide the specialist
services required, from creating the specification, to the installation of our treatments.
We are members of the British Wood
Preservation and Damp Proofing Association (B.W.P.D.A.) which means we have been
thoroughly inspected to ensure we meet their high approval criteria. Their web site can
been seen on www.bwpda.co.uk
Our aim is customer
satisfaction. There is no point undertaking extensive work if it does not solve the
problem.
The Specialist Services We
Provide.
Rising Damp
Treatment.
The materials we use are odourless, non flammable, and do not attack bitumen or
rubber. They have an Agrement Board Certificate which specifically includes their use on
walls constructed of brick, stone, rubble and notably flint |
 |
Tanking.
The materials we use to arrest lateral penetration of damp are suitable for
substrates with higher sulphur content than normal. Additional treatments are available
for nitrates and chlorides. Tanking is often essential to compliment our rising damp
treatments where there are high ground or floor levels.
Timber Treatment.
Materials we use are all approved by English Nature, and have a low mammalian
toxicity. Materials used include those suitable for Common Furniture Beetle (Anobium
punctatum), Death Watch Beetle (Xestobium rufovillosum) and House Longhorn
Beetle (Hylotrupes bajulus). In most instances re-entry can be in as little as 1
hour.
Dry Rot
Treatment.
Dry Rot (Serpula lacrymans) and other fungal attacks are surveyed by an
experienced surveyor and an assessment is made of the remedial works required in detail.
Costs can then be identified at survey stage, reducing or eliminating the need for 'exposure
work' prior to commencement of treatments.
The
Benefits of Using Beadle Property Care Ltd.
Survey.
Conducted by a remedial surveyor with the qualifications of the Certificate for
Surveyors in Remedial Treatment (C.S.R.T.). Our survey normally includes details of other
causes of dampness and timber problems within a property, and recommendations for
associated work, are set out in a clear way.
30 Year Guarantees.
These are issued against the recurrence of rising damp, insect attack and fungal
decay including Dry Rot. They are backed by our chemical supplier to cover the eventuality
of our ceasing trading through retirement, or for any other reason. This is essential
when properties change ownership.
Safety.
The products used and the service provided allows a better working environment
for following trades and householders than many other products available in the industry.
Timber Treatments used for Common Furniture Beetle are not classified as hazardous under
the CHIP regulations and do not attack foam backed carpets.
Good Service.
Efficiency and flexibility are essential in todays commercial environment. This
could explain why we are one of the few expanding businesses in our sector.
