A GARDEN centre renowned for its friendly atmosphere and quality products has vastly expanded, enabling them to offer their customers an extremely comprehensive service.

Emcy Garden Centre, situated at Kelling near Holt has been at its present site for over 11 years. Initially trading from a shed built by owners Mike and Caroline Crane, continued support from their loyal customers has enabled them to obtain the site as a freehold premises and develop it their own way.

Within two years they have developed an extensive new shop, built and supplied by local builders, in order for them to increase their product range considerably, various water features, pots and plants are on display in the courtyard, they have a plant tunnel packed full of seasonal bedded plants and to ensure their customers do no heavy lifting they have developed a Drive-through compost pick-up.

"We want to create a fun but relaxed shopping experience for our customers, we play calming music as they browse at their leisure and there is always a giggle going on," said Caroline.

Emcy have also developed a tea-room where customers can take it easy with a coffee and home-made cakes, or why not try one of their mouth-watering bacon baps!

"Our customers are the most important aspect to us, our main aim is to keep them satisfied with the products and services and they will continue to support us," stated Caroline.

The entire premises is wheelchair friendly and they have a ride on buggy for anyone who feels they need assistance with mobility. The friendly staff will help you to load purchases into your car which can be parked on their large , easily accessible car park with disabled parking.

"We want all our customers to feel welcome, we even welcome the four-legged variety and are going to create a 'Doggy Park' where customers can tie their dog up in the shade to cool down with a bowl of water."
