Martin Sexton was born in Briston, North Norfolk, England, in 1941. After studying Art and Graphic Design at Norwich Art School he pursued a career in this field, eventually becoming Senior Designer at Jarrold Printing in Norwich, undertaking design commissions for many national and international companies. Finding it increasingly difficult to devote enough time to painting, he decided to become a freelance artist in 1987 working from his Broadmead Studio in Sheringham, a decision that he has never regretted and his paintings are commissioned and purchased for private collections in this country and abroad. Publication of his original landscape paintings has now resulted in him becoming widely known as one of Norfolk's most popular watercolour artists. |
| Martin exhibits regularly throughout East Anglia and has a permanent exhibition at his Broadmead Studio, Sheringham, a working studio exhibiting original watercolours, signed prints and greetings cards, where visitors are always made very welcome. |

Sheringham is located on the beautiful North Norfolk coast, approximately 25 miles North of Norwich. Broadmead Studio is located on the Sheringham to Cromer A149 Coast Road. Turn opposite Brook Road into Beeston Common; follow the road to the left and the Studio is on the left-hand side.
